The Project Manager is responsible for managing and monitoring the work of various in:house and outside resources to implement energy efficiency projects. The Project Manager ensures deliverables in the area of APSC mandated energy savings targets and supports their associated regulatory filings. The Project manager is vital to the development of the departmental budget, financial forecasts and the reporting of actual financial results. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically.


The Project Manager is responsible for managing the work of various resources implementing energy efficiency projects. The Project manager supports the in:house or external resources with their decisions associated with the attainment, validation and reporting of energy savings in accordance with the performance metrics as defined by the APSC. The Project Manager will provide direct support for reports filed with the APSC and at times may be required to file testimony. The Project manager also monitors, maintains and completes key financial functions including the development of the departmental budget, financial forecasts and the reporting of actual financial results. The Project Manager collaborates closely with other team members to validate reported savings and to authenticate all project costs, address any gaps or risks and formulate plans to mitigate any identified issues. The Project Manager will assist in developing reports related to the teams progress, and compliance with business directives to EAI executives and to management steering committees. The Project Manager will be responsible to assist in the evaluation of the costs and benefits of individual savings measures, projects and entire portfolios using the California Standardized Tests. The Project Manager will ensure all work complies with all APSC Energy Efficiency Orders, Entergy policies and with Entergys safety guidelines and practices. The Project Manager is expected to support work emergency storm restoration as needed.


Minimum education required of the position

Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.

Desired: A Bachelors Degree in Energy Efficiency or Energy Management or a Bachelors Degree for an Engineering Discipline (typically Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, and Industrial) from a four:year accredited institution

Minimum experience required of the position

3:5 years of experience in Operations Management, Project Management, or Customer Service.

Desired: 5 years of experience in engineering or in an energy:efficiency related field along with a minimum of 3 years in Project Management.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Project Management Experience. Excellent verbal and written skills. Expresses self well in groups and in one:on:one conversations. Proficiency in analytical technical tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management.

Desired: The successful candidate will have good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities with fluctuating priorities and the capacity to work well under pressure. The candidates must be self:motivated and a dependable team
