Job Description
Premier Private Golf and Country Club is looking for a highly qualified, mature and professional Clubhouse Receptionist who is well versed in customer (Member) services with a true sense of Gracious Southern Hospitality and willingness to serve.
The successful candidate will be extremely well organized and trustworthy, while possessing a wide range of skills, including but not limited to, time management, communications, telephone inquiries, email communications, web site management and editing, desktop publishing, in:house marketing, menu and promotional material design and layout, systems and procedural evaluations, database management, PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Office, etc.
While the main responsibility for this position is to answer the phone in a pleasant, genuine and sincere manner, the Clubhouse Receptionist will also assist the Executive
Assistant/Membership Coordinator and General Manager/COO with, among other things, Management of Office Resources and Supplies, General Executive Administrative Duties, Inter:departmental Communications and Correspondence, and all day:to:day Member Communications. The successful candidate will be in a position to do whatever it takes to assure that our members are well cared for while receiving prompt, efficient responses to any inquiries or requests.
This position should truly be viewed as the Director of First Impressions as in most cases, the successful candidate will be the first person most people see and/or speak with upon entering or calling the Club.
A proven and verifiable track record of success and accomplishment in a similar position is expected. Prior experience or general understanding of the hospitality industry, while certainly helpful, is not necessary.
