Responsible for planning and scheduling substation and relay maintenance tasks, Grid capital projects and day:to:day activities for the region substation and relay department.
Develops short and long term schedules, updates area work plan, schedules work requests in SWMS and maintains maintenance documentation through the SWMS application.
Interfaces and with internal groups such as Project Management and Construction, Major Accounts, Transmission Operations Center, Distribution Operations Center and Transmission Operations Planning for planned outages and resource coordination.
Submits and monitors maintenance and capital project outage requests in TAORS.
Leads the weekly planning meeting with the local area supervision.
Identifies deficiencies, analyzes alternatives and recommends solutions to schedule conflicts.
Serves as a member of the Storm Response Team.
Minimum education required of the position
Associate degree or equivalent work experience.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables in a fast:paced environment. Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Experience/training in scheduling resources or maintenance and construction practices. Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and database applications. Desired: Knowledge of SWMS, TAORS; Experience in substation or relay maintenance and construction; Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance and construction activities.
