Registered Nurse to promote wellness, improve outcomes, and self:care within a defined population of patients in an Outpatient Clinic. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to assigned patients. As a professional nurse, the nursing process is utilized in the provision of care. The RN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards. The RN will provide patients support, education, and assistance in the prevention and/or maintenance of their disease and/or health and wellness state and will work with the individual patient, their families, and providers of care to develop and implement individual health plans, and provide support to the patient in self:management. Coordinate care and/or follow:up for patients who receive care in outpatient facilities. Coordination of prescription refill requests and patient education coordination in collaboration with physician staff. The RN will develop a specialty in patient care related to the clinics populations and acts as a resource. The RN will work with the providers and clinical staff to implement innovative approaches and set priorities to meet patient/family needs. Commitment to patient outcomes results in high levels of performance despite workload changes. No New Graduates Accepted. Bi:Weekly Concurrent Not Accepted At This Time.PRN Applicants Who Reapply To The PRN Pool Will Not Be Considered For Re:Hire Until Six (6) Months Has Elapsed From The Date Of PRN TerminationPRN Nurses Will Report To An Assigned Clinical Services Manager (CSM) Based On Current Area Of Expertise.Minimum of one (1) year current hospital/bedside registered nursing experience Work two (2) 12 hour shifts a month with a maximum of 1000 hours in a 12 month floating period. Concurrent work one (1) 12 hour shift a month with a maximum of 1000 hours per year in a 12 month floating period.Work 2 Holidays/year: 1 Major (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, or New Years Day) and 1 MinorWork two (2) weekend shifts/yearReceive 20 shift differential for E/N/P shiftsReceive 10 weekend differential Friday from 2:30P until Sunday at 11P TRANSFERS INTO PRN POOL: MUST FOLLOW TRANSFER REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO LAST WORKING DAY AS POSTED ON WEBSITE SELECT EMPLOYMENT INFO DROP DOWN TAB PRIOR TO SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Masters in Nursing. Valid RN License, MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR OF BEDSIDE REGISTERED NURSING EXPERIENCE, excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, strong work ethics and accountability. Preferred: 3 years or more nursing experience with current BLS.
