GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Recruit, interview, and invite driver candidates to Driver Orientation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Telephone Sales : Provide customer service by answering ad calls, providing information, and entering initial information into database. Offer or deny invitation to Driver Orientation. Retrieve voicemail messages, enter them into the database, and contact potential applicants. Take telephone applications and mail physical applications. Contact and sell all internet applications. 2. Presentations : Participate in off:site recruiting efforts. Make referral and tuition presentations to weekly Orientation classes. As well as present Maverick to walk in applicants. 3. Prospecting : Contact drivers eligible for hire or rehire while maintaining accurate records. Contact no shows from Orientation to reschedule. 4. Reports : Develop a personal sales plan. Review sales results and create a plan of action. Accurately document activities in the Recruiter Database. 5. Ensure all applications are scanned and entered into the ATS and distributed among the department. 6. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. 7. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training. 8. Ensure company confidentiality. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc. plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
