Job Description Coordinates, develops and implements human resources policies and programs for factory locations. Responsibilities include employment, employee benefits, compensation, employee training programs and training delivery, placement and assessment strategies, safety, security, employee assistance, and employee relations. Advised the general Plant Manager on Human Resources strategies and issues. Represent Lennox in various community and public relations activities. Develops and implements training programs based on strategic needs of the plant, including human asset inventory. Conducts a variety of pre:employment, post:employment and performance management training programs. Oversees the plant safety, security, and environmental programs and compliance with all local, state and federal laws. Oversees employee relations including those related to employee complaints, legal requirements and policy violations. Develops, communicates, and trains employees on HR policies and procedures. Qualifications Requires a bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience. Requires at least 3 years experience as a manager. Requires advanced knowledge of governmental regulations and general HR practices. Must have extensive experience resolving a range of employee relations problems. Advanced ability to encourage communication and resolve conflicts is essential. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to advise subordinates in order to meet schedules and resolve problems.
