Up to 25
Develops outage stage gate plans and budgets. Executes planned outages and large capital projects. Supports the outage stage gate process for assigned outages. Manages multiple outages that may occur in multiple states/locations dependent upon forecasted planned outage spending.
Oversees long range and detailed planning and execution of Power Generation outages.
Manages safety, cost, schedule and risk processes for outage scopes of work.
Responsible for the adherence and implementation of the Outage Stage Gate Process.
Interfaces with Plant Management personnel to communicate and drive to resolution key issues impacting outage performance.
Coach project managers as necessary to deliver expected safety, financial, and schedule results.
Understands, negotiates, and influences contract language for vendors/contractors to protect Entergys best interest.

Minimum education required of the position
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or in related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position
Must have 5 or more years of large project management relevant experience.
Must have 5 years of power plant maintenance related experience.
Must have 2 years of demonstrated experience in a technical management leadership role.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Power plant major component repair and overhaul; contracting and procurement knowledge; EHS policy; compliance standards, NERC and Sarbanes:Oxley; knowledge of industry standards related to modification of plant components, engineering standards; and strong preference for candidates with large frame gas turbine and steam turbine overhauls, MS Office suite, including MS Project or Primavera; and ASME codes applicable to large power boilers and steam piping.
